“After
this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the
voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and
I will show you what must take place after this.” Revelation 4:1
An
interesting commentary on this verse highlighted the existence of a door. The
door stood before man and God. It recognized that there is indeed a possibility
of interaction between man and God, the world and the kingdom.
“Ask
and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be
opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
“Here
I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the
door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” Revelation
3:20
