“All go to one place. All are from the dust, and to dust all return.” Ecclesiastes 3:20
The
word humility means to be humble, to acknowledge self and others, to respect
and so forth.
It
derives from the Latin word “humilis,” which may further reach back into the
word “humus,” meaning “of the earth” or “rooted in ground.”
To be humble, to be of the earth, to
know that the end is the earth, dust to dust, into the hands of God.
